The Datsport Adjustable Rear Crossmember (Version 4.1) is a precision-engineered replacement for the factory rear crossmember in Datsun 510/1600 and 610/180B models. Designed for enthusiasts who demand better suspension alignment, this unit allows fine adjustment of both camber and toe without the guesswork, welding, or slotting that traditional methods require.
Whether you're lowering your Datsun for improved handling or fitting an upgraded differential like the R200, this crossmember offers a bolt-in solution with serious performance benefits. Built to suit street, circuit, and rally applications alike, it ensures your rear suspension geometry is as dialled as your build deserves.
Exchange Info: If selecting the "exchange" option, please send your rear crossmember to us at 11 Somerset Circuit, Lonsdale, SA 5160. Once received, we will assess and contact you regarding the next steps. In some cases, we may use your original unit directly if it meets or exceeds our base condition standards.
When we first started developing adjustable crossmembers for Datsuns, our initial designs used cam-type adjusters. While they worked, they were clunky — difficult for alignment shops to set, and not particularly durable. Arms had to be forced into position, risking wear on both the bushings and the adjusters themselves.
Version 2 was our first big improvement — more robust and much easier to align. But it was Version 3 where we really changed the game. With the help of a purpose-built jig, we aligned the pivot pins perfectly, reducing bushing distortion and ensuring smoother arm movement. That design marked a real breakthrough in both geometry and serviceability.
Now, Version 4.1 is ready — and it’s the best one yet. With custom billet adjusters, stronger bracket geometry, and R200 diff compatibility, this crossmember is built for serious street and motorsport use. It solves the common rear-end alignment issues caused by lowering a 510 or 610, while offering repeatable fine-tuning with standard hand tools.
No welding. No guessing. No compromises. Built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts — from years of trial, fabrication, and on-track feedback.
