Convert your Datsun's factory sealed-beam headlights to replaceable H4 globes with this HELLA Semi-Sealed Headlight Conversion Kit. Supplied as a pair, these 146mm round high/low beam inserts retain a classic fluted-glass appearance while allowing the main globes to be replaced separately from the housings.
Primarily offered for the Datsun 510/1600, this kit also suits other Datsun models using the same 146mm round high/low beam headlights. Choose Philips H4 +30 halogen globes or J.W. Speaker H4 LED globes. Integrated park lights and blanking grommets are included, giving you the option to connect the park lights within the headlights or retain your existing setup.

Fitment

Other Datsun models: Suits vehicles using the same 146mm round high/low beam headlight size, subject to matching mounting arrangements and sufficient rear clearance.
- This kit converts two high/low beam headlights. Replacement inner high-beam-only lights are not included.
- Check electrical connections and switching compatibility when converting from the original sealed-beam lights.
Park Lights & Blanking Grommets
Each housing includes a small park-light globe, also known as a front position light. These can be connected to the vehicle's park-light circuit using the separate terminals on the rear of each holder.
If you prefer to retain your existing park lights, remove the integrated park-light holders and fit the supplied blanking grommets to close the openings. The vehicle's existing park lights must remain functional.
Installation Notes
- Check existing headlight wiring, connectors and relays for condition and suitability.
- Confirm connector pin assignments and switching compatibility before connecting the selected globes.
- Check rear clearance and sealing-boot fitment, particularly with the LED option.
- Additional wiring is required if connecting the integrated park lights.
- Check and adjust headlight aim after installation.
